Practice Opportunities at MU Family Medicine
Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine (090177)
Geriatrician – Located in Columbia. This position will provide patient care in geriatrics – including primary care, consult service, and nursing home care. The selected candidate will participate in medical student, resident, and fellow training as well. He/she will also provide clinical leadership at the hospital and medical school level. This faculty member will contribute to supporting the nursing home practice that effectively captures and retains elderly patients in our health system and will help advance cost effective clinical pathways and patient safety in the hospital setting. Acute Care Physicians – The department has two vacancies which will serve as acute care physicians to work in any of our six clinical sites in Columbia and central Missouri to cover absences of other faculty. These positions can accommodate a schedule of 75% to 100% full-time. Other duties will be negotiated. Academic and scholarly opportunities available. Comprehensive benefit package and incentive plan.
