- AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha) membership has included 17 MU Family Medicine faculty and residents.
- Since 2000, family medicine faculty have authored an average of 55 peer-reviewed publications annually. One of these studies, The United States Faces a Shortage of Generalist Physicians (Health Affairs, 2008) led by MU Family Medicine Professor Jack Colwill, has received broad national coverage.
