Criteria for International Medical Graduates: 2008-2009
- You must have:
- Graduated from medical school in the past two years OR
- Currently be in a residency program OR
- Currently be in a full-time clinical practice (does not have to be in the United States)
- You must hold a valid ECFMG certificate by January 1, 2009
- We ask that you have your visa or can obtain one before the program start date (J1 preferred) *see H1B specifics below
- You must have a strong commitment to and evidence of experience in family medicine
- You must be able to speak fluent English
- We will accept ERAS applications through January 1, 2009

No, we review your entire application including dean’s letters, letters of recommendation and so forth.

Do you sponsor H1B visas?
We will review H1’s on an individual basis; however, you must pass Step 3 by February ranking to qualify.
Do you offer observerships/externships?
No, we do not.
