MU's Newest Clinic - Smiley Lane Family Medicine - Cares For Its First Patient

New family medicine clinic opens on Columbia’s north side

The Department of Family and Community Medicine’s sixth clinic, the University Physicians-Smiley Lane Clinic, is now open. Located at 2325 Smiley Lane in north Columbia, the clinic’s family physicians include Mendi Hecker, MD; Peter Koopman, MD; Richelle Koopman, MD; and Carin Reust, MD. Jonathan Thomas, MD, will offer specialized obstetric and gynecologic care at the new facility.

The UP-Smiley Lane clinic also features on-site lab-work and X-ray capabilities, as well as a drive-through patient pharmacy, for convenience and comprehensive care.
